One highly praised breakout session at our Humanae Vitae convention was titled “Marketing to Millennials.” The presentation was given by Forest Hempen, CCL’s marketing and communications associate, and created with input from her colleagues Maggie Tamborski and Clara Vincent.

“Connection is much more important than marketing,” said Forest, who is a 20-something. “We’re seeking a relationship.”

“The key is to create things for your [CCL] students is that they want to Instagram, that they want to share,” she added. “So when you write them a welcome letter, have your kids draw a picture and include that in the letter. That stuff is Instagrammable!”
