Cracking contraception

Posted on August 7, 2017

Just over a year ago, Cracked.com published a humorous video called “If Birth Control Commercials Were Honest.” Using wit and a fair amount of raw language, the clip deconstructs the ridiculous notion that contraception liberates women.

Now a year later, the video is no less relevant and the question “Do women have any other choices?” remains largely unanswered by both doctors and popular culture (although we’re beginning to see this change).

But the truth is that women do have other choices — choices that are natural, organic, carry no side-effects, and are hormone-free. Fertility awareness-based methods (FAM or FABM) provide a scientifically-verified approach to reproductive health that allows women to understand their bodies and accurately predict their fertility, no matter how crazy their cycles may be.
