The Life Way Ridgecrest Conference Center is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just 17 miles east of Asheville, North Carolina, Exit 66 off I-40. Air Travel

For those traveling by air, the closest airport is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), or an option for a larger airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) located in Charlotte, NC. A shuttle company for those attendees needing transportation from the airport will be announced at a later date. Shuttle charges are the attendees responsibility.

Weather Conditions at Ridgecrest

Elevations at the Ridgecrest main campus average 3,000 feet and are a “mile high” at Royal Gorge Lookout. Below are the average temperatures for the convention timeframe for the last three years. Water dispensers are conveniently located throughout the campus buildings.

Ridgecrest Policies & Procedures

Ridgecrest is a Christian conference center. In keeping with the mission of their organization, they have set the following policy and procedures to help assure the comfort of the guests:

Alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, firearms, and fireworks are not permitted anywhere on the grounds.
No smoking. Ridgecrest is a tobacco-free environment. There is a designated smoking area located on the edge of the Ridgecrest campus
Attire. Immodest clothing, distasteful monograms, bare feet in public areas, or any extreme styles of dress are prohibited.
Pets. Pets are not permitted in any Ridgecrest facility.
Quiet Hours. As a courtesy to all guests, please observe quiet hours from 11:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Emergency Protocol. Call 911 or 669-9117.
Parking. There is ample free parking at the Ridgecrest campus.
Cell Phones. Turn cell phones to vibrate during all of the talks.
