Volunteer Appreciation Banquet

At Convention 2006, CCL Central launched its inaugural appreciation banquet honoring those volunteers who had reached various levels of volunteer service to CCL. At Convention 2008, those volunteers who have reached 30+ years, 25-26 years, and 20-21 years of service will be recognized at a banquet on Thursday evening, July 31.  The evening will begin with a social and hors d'oeurvres at 6:00 p.m., followed by a formal dinner at 7:15 p.m.  Psychologist and Family Foundations columnist Greg Popcak will be the guest speaker at 8:00 p.m., followed by the awards presentation at 8:30 p.m. The evening will conclude at 9:00 p.m.  (Evening attire is requested)  

Childcare will be provided free of charge during this event.  Childcare activities will be organized activities.  Nursing babies may attend the banquet with mom. 

Banquet Costs

$30 per adult  

This includes hors d'oeuvres (mini quiches, veggie tray w/dip) and sparkling punch, your choice from two main entrees (rutland chicken or pecan roasted pork), grilled asparagus, wild rice pilaf, dinner rolls, coffee, hot tea, sweet tea, non-alcoholic wine, and either chocolate mousse cake or fruits of the forest for dessert.
